CATCH A FALLING STAR

I don't listen to Total Star. I like my radio local. I want to hear well produced news. And to me Total Star is a total swicth off - a brand which is mass produced somewhere near Swindon and then given a local label.

OFCOM, however, have to listen. They're paid to regulate radio. They are the police of the airwaves and when they tuned into Total Star they got a shock. Because Total Star has been booming out its total drivel ten times over the legal limit. They've bent the rules and turned up the volume on their transmitter in order to try and poach listeners outside their own strict catchment area. Total Star have been totally cheating. And now they've been caught.

The punishment is reducing their licence to broadcast by one full year. This means that their licence will now be advertised early.
