Bridgwater College is up with the best in education. The courses it offers and the results it achieves are enviable. Now this power-house of local learning has let loose a big name to fight the corner for Furthur Education throughout the country.

Fiona McMillan became President of the Association of Colleges after her retirement from the College in 2012. It is a big move for a special lady who has already given so much to the growth and reputation of Bridgwater College. The Association is highly effective in getting its positive messages over to MPs and Ministers. They are now led by a formidable new President!

Their recent Parliamentary reception was a chance for me to say a big public thank you and good luck. The picture shows Fiona and I with a happy group of College staff and students under the clock at Westminster.
