BRIDGWATER HOSPITAL

March 2012 - Good news!

Bridgwater is now certain to get a brand new hospital. The Government will contribute an additional £16 million to the project - that means it is all systems go for a complete rebuild on a site in Bowers Lane. This is the culmination of years of hard work by the NHS trust, Sedgemoor District Council and (behind the scenes) your local MP.

Together we have convinced the Department of Health that our town deserves the most up-to-date facilities.

Bridgwater Hospital already has a dedicated team in its familiar, but somewhat jaded, buildings.

The new hospital will offer the best of today and open up huge healthcare possibilities for tomorrow.  It will be a huge boost for the town and it is great to be sure that it is now going ahead. Congratulations to everyone involved in smoothing the path and oiling the hinges of Whitehall's safe deposit box.
