Bridgwater will get a new hospital. There is already a small and well-respected community hospital in the town. But medical needs have increased dramatically since it was built. Over two years ago the NHS published a plan to build one. Like all such plans it involved very detailed consultation. Actually it still does.
The NHS has just invited comments from the public about their plans. You can download their document by clicking this link, and they would like people to make comments by December 3rd.I am very keen to ensure that the town gets a new hospital. The medics want it and the town needs it.
